    Wild elephants crush 2 Rohingya including child to dead in Bangladesh Makeshift Camp

    A 2-year old Rohingya child was among the two Rohingya refugees killed when a parade of wild elephants entered a makeshift Rohingya refugee camp in the remote area of Kutupalong, Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.

    The incident took place at 11pm local time when the majority of the refugees were asleep. It is also reported that five other Rohingya are injured when the elephants ran into the camp.

    The deceased are identified as Shamsul Alam, 55 and Shahidul Alam, 2, who were recently fled the ongoing Genocidal against Rohingya in Myanmar.
    Since August 25, more than 430,000 Rohingya are forced into Bangladesh, and more than 60% of them are children who face the severe humanitarian crisis and in risk of water-borne illnesses.
