    Maungdaw,
    Arakan State:
     A
United Nations envoy, Vijay Nambiar, has wrapped up a visit to Burma
between December16-20,2012, was at the invitation of the Burmese
Government, which has pledged to take measures to address the
violence in Arakan State, but no visited to Rohingya IDPs camp in
Maungdaw, according to a Rohingya politician.

    In
Maungdaw, only one Rohingya IDPs camp which was setup during last
month in Koe Tan Kauk village under Maungdaw south, who fled from
Rathedaung since June, other Rohingya IDPs from Maungdaw are not
    recognized by authority.”

The UN envoy only visited the Natala fake IDPs
camps—- Mawra Waddi and Kan pin Thazi—but not Rohingya IDPs in
Maungdaw Township. The thousands of Rohingya IDPs have no shelters,
no food and medicines. They did not get any help from outside, so
far, said a local leader from Maungdaw.

A Rohingya elder from Maungdaw Town said,” Many
local poor Rakhine people were placed on the road side of Maungdaw-
Aley Than Kyaw Highway road by erecting tents before the UN envoy’s
visit to show the fake IDPs. After visiting the UN envoy, the fake
    IDPs returned to their houses.”

    The
Maungdaw high officials had made a plan to show International
delegation who visit Maungdaw with fake IDPs -Natala and Rakhine- as
the Rohignya had attacked the fake IDPs as minority in Maungdaw. But,
Rohingya IDPs are not show to this delegation.”
